We, the Holy Cross family, always encourages the students in sports activities
for their healthy and prosperous life. Like other years, Peace Club organized a
friendly Football (Boys) and Throw Ball (Girls) Inter-School Sports Meet on
Sports Report 17th August, 2024 at Holy Cross School, Panisagar. Total four schools
participated in this one-day tournament. All the students played the games with
a sportsmanship mindset to develop communal harmony and establish peace in
society.
Holy Cross School-Kumarghat participated with a full energy both in Football
and Throw Ball competitions. The Football Boys team of our school consisted
of 11+5 players under the captainship of Khausoukrai Reang (class x) and
Throw Ball team consisted of 7+3 players under the captainship of Mitali

tournament. Finally, Holy Cross School-Panisagar won the Football match
whereas Holy Cross School Kathalcherra bagged the Runners up.
Unfortunately, our school could not get the Champion in Throw Ball. But with
smiling faces, our girls accepted the Runners up Trophy. The captain of the
Throw Ball Girls’ team Mitali Reang received the cup from the Peace Club
Sandip Shil

in the evening.
