that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but
might have eternal life.
Christmas is celebrated every year on 25th December
to mark the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ. It is the
season of peace, joy and fellowship with family and
Delbi Reang friends and also all about giving, sharing and loving. It
CLASS IX is the time when families get together and cook
delicious food for each other. The Christmas tree is a
big attraction point of Christmas. People decorate it
with bells, balls, glitter and stars. Many people bake
sweet cakes and share them with loved ones. Gifts are
exchanged among friends and relatives to express the
joy and merriment of Christmas. The Christians buy
new clothes and also decorate the churches beautifully
with lightings and flowers. Children are taught to share
and be empathetic towards others by helping each
other out in need. The poor and needy who cannot
celebrate Christmas, are assisted, so they won’t miss
such an amazing festival.

CLASS VII Christmas tree. Relatives and friends gather at one
place and a delicious feast is also organized. Children
wait for Santa Claus on Christmas night and he brings
them many beautiful gifts. Children put milk and
cookies for Santa Claus because they are his favourite
food. Children express their delight by sharing
beautiful gifts and cards.

Christmas is celebrated all over the world with joy and happiness. It is the
time of the year when friends and family come together and celebrate it
with joy and spread happiness to the people around.
We all know that Christmas is celebrated as the day of the birth of Jesus
Christ in this world which symbolizes the significance of life. He was born
in a world which only knew greed, hatred, vengeance and hypocrisy. In
Nandita Barua spite of all the negativity around the world, as He grew old, He eliminated
CLASS X all of it and taught everyone to love each other and also taught the
significance of how being grateful for what a person has, can bring peace
to the world.
The Christmas tree is considered to be a symbol of Christ. Decorating a
Christmas tree is considered to be an ancient custom that reminds
everyone how valuable life is. Christmas is enjoyed to its fullest by kids as
they get gifts from Santa Clause. Gifts are exchanged on Christmas to
signify the birth of Jesus. It is a season of love, harmony and peace. It also
spreads warmth in each individual. So, this Christmas 2023, make sure to
enjoy to the fullest with your family and friends and be grateful for
everything that you are. Merry Christmas to everyone and a very Happy
New Year 2024.
The Peace Club of Holy Cross School, Kumarghat
had organized a seminar on ‘Drug Abuse’ on 21st
November, 2023 at 10:40 am in the school premises.
Sir Francis, Sir Rajkumar, Miss Regina, and Sir
Joseph were the teachers present in the seminar.
Peace Club members from classes VIII to X were
present for the seminar. Resource person, Mrs.
Samadrita Sharma Moumita Reang delivered an insightful lecture at
