Principal's Message
Greetings to you dear Teaching Staff, Supporting Staff, Parents/Guardians and Students,
“Holy Cross is God’s work”, said by our founder Blessed Basil Antony Moreau. We are
blessed and happy to belong to this work of God, the family of Holy Cross and this year
we consciously celebrated the life of the founder Fr. Moreau, as it is the 150th year of
his entry into the eternal life. We had very many programs in honor of Fr. Moreau that
culminated with the grand Parents’ Day celebration that we had. I am sure the spirit of
this great man will continue to inspire us. Thanks to the vision of Fr. Moreau which
guide us to educate the students to be a better citizen of our society.
Throughout this year, our students have sought to embrace life as they strive to rise and
respond to the challenge we set. That challenge, to be the best they can be as they
nurture their heart and mind and inspire their learning.
I am always appreciative of the support of our Administration, Staff, Parents and the
way they embrace our partnership to work together in delivering the best possible
outcomes for the students. Thank you for your support, your patience and for your
understanding throughout the year. I express my sincere Thanks to Ms. Lalnunsangi
Lushai for her hard work and perseverance in bringing out the e-newsletter of our
school. Thanks to the HCEF, Fr. Lancy D’ Souza csc the school manager, Sr. Bertilla Fs
the headmistress, Sr. Lahun Fs the supervisor for their consistent support and help.
Administration, faculty, and supporting staff have enjoyed so many positive
interactions with students since April. There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t hear
about something good and positive and amazing that our students have thought of,
proposed, undertook, or produced both in and outside of classrooms. And we look
forward to so many more of these happy, insightful, and compassionate interactions in
the days ahead!
On behalf of all of the staff and the Students, I take this opportunity to wish you and
your families a love and peace filled Christmas and Happy New Year 2024.

‘Emmanuel’ which means God is with us. It is another name for Jesus. His
birth and life is a message of good news for us because it means we are
never alone. It doesn’t matter how hard or hopeless our situation may
appear to be, God is there for us. We don’t have to journey through our
challenges and struggles alone. He understands our weakness and walks
always with us.

God’s love is for everyone. You are not alone. You are loved and can feel
we create hopeful and joyful. That is true message of Christmas. God also assures us
a source of love that He is always working to bring good out of all that happens in our
