Holy Cross School, Kumarghat rings the joyful bells as we anticipate the birthday of Jesus Christ on the 19th of December 2022. This joyful

                                          celebration began at 9:00 am with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, followed by the prayer dance invoking the presence of God in
        Christmas Celebration
                                          our midst. Sr. Bernadette our headmistress welcomed the gathering with much love and appreciation. She also honored our Chief Guest

         Sweet Chiming Bells!             Sir Roitua Darlong with a bouquet and a risha.

                                          The students presented the Christmas Tableau beautifully under the guidance of Sr. Bernadette, giving us the message of love, peace and
                                          joy. The shepherds’ dance reminded us of the first Christmas as of how Jesus Christ was born in the town of Bethlehem and celebrations

                                          that took place. The wonderful play ended with the melodious Christmas carol by the teachers and students.

                                          Sir Roitua Darlong, the Chief Guest of the day spoke highly of what he witnessed during the programmed  and appreciated the students,
                                          teachers and the authority of our institution. He had delivered a thought provoking speech and said that “Christmas is the celebration of

                                          the birth of LOVE”. He also encouraged the students to keep up the spirit of Holy Cross way of education.

                                          We, the Holy Cross family of Kumarghat proudly acknowledge the achievements of our students in the co-curricular activities. The winners

                                          of the Holy Cross Educational Exhibition 2022 were duly awarded. Fr. Lourdu, our Principal congratulated and honored Kathashree Roy of
           Ms. Elvina Hoikhokim Baite     Class – VIII with a prize for her great success in Yoga Competition in the FAR EAST ZONE YOGA CHAMPIONSHIP 2022-23 organized by the

                                          CBSE under 14 years of age. It was a moment of pride for her parents and well-wishers. Thus, the joyful event came to an end at 10:30 am
                                          with the National Anthem. Merry Christmas to all!
