Periodic Test – I Schedule:
Examination evaluates students understanding and progress. Holy Cross School Kumarghat

Exam Committee conducts all the exams in a fair and transparent manner by maintaining the instructions and
guidelines of the CBSE board and Holy cross education Foundation (HCEF) in every session. In this
Report session (2024-25) PT-I exam of classes I to class-X was conducted from 16th May to 22nd May. It

was based on a combination of theory exam, internal assessment and practical assessment. PT-I
exam of Pre-primary classes (Nursery to KG-II) was conducted from 27th June to 5th July 2024.
Some of the subjects of pre-primary classes were conducted oral exam and some subjects conducted
written exam.

Showing of answer sheets to the parents and students:
Answer sheets of Classes I to III have been shown to the parents and classes IV to X to the students on
20th June 2024.Answer sheets of pre-primary classes (Nursery to KG-II) have been shown to the
parents on 9th July 2024.

Result and Report cards distribution:
Result and report card of PT-I exam of classes I to X is given to the parents and students on 29th June
Mr. Sourabh Majumdar 2024. Regarding Class- IX and X result, class teachers and subject teachers conducted a parents
teacher meeting on 29th June 2024 in the school hall, they met the parents of weaker students
individually along with the student and explain the result after that report cards were given. Result
and report cards of classes Nursery to KG-II will be given to the parents on 13th July 2024

Responsibility of exam Committee:
All the processing work for PT-I exam was done by exam committee. Exam committee which is
authorized to conduct all the examinations for the whole session and make policy decisions in regard
to organizing and holding examinations, improving system of examination and also preparing the
schedule of examinations. Exam committee deals with all the matters in relation to any kind of
examination.

Exam committee conducts pre-exam meeting along with the headmistress with regards to smooth
functioning of the examination. Exam committee looks after question paper setting, making
invigilator’s duty chart, seating plan, attendance record, evaluation of answer sheet, preparing report
card and declaration of result. During the meeting exam committee make sure that all stationeries
like answer sheets, drawing sheet, graph, map, thread etc are available. Exam committee prepares
timetable of the exam schedule provided by Holy cross education foundation (HCEF). Subject
teachers prepared two sets of question paper for each subject for PT-I exam. After every test, exam
committee submits a report to the principal. Exam committee also keeps all the records of each issue
related to the PT-I examination.
