The farewell of a well loved headmistress of our school was held on April 14th 2023 in

an appropriate manner. The ceremony started at 9 am in the school auditorium. It began
with lighting of the lamp and a prayer dance by class 2, 3 & 4 students. Thereafter Sr.
Lahun, the supervisor of the school welcomed the gathering. Fr. Lancy, the secretary of
the school gave a small token of love and bouquet of flowers and delivered a speech.
Debashrya Pal a student of class 10 recited a poem written by herself to show her love
and affection towards sister Bernadette.Subhamit Deb, the former SPL of the school
delivered a speech by expressing his gratitude towards sister.
Sr. Bernadette delivered her speech describing her years of service at the institution. Her
speech revealed her love and affection for the students as well as for the teachers. Then a
folk dance was presented by class 5 students. The principal of the school Fr. Lourdu
expressed his work experience with sister and also appreciated her and acknowledged
all the services Sr. Bernadette has rendered for the school. Fr. Lourdu promised our
prayers and wished Sr Bernadette to shine wherever she may be.
Last but not the least, the programme came to an end with Miss Gracy Barla proposing
the vote of thanks.
