Like every other year, this year also Holy Cross School, Kumarghat is blessed to have a total of 49 students who are admitted to class Nursery. It was the first day of
the school life for them. They were excited to step in the school campus and so their parents too. Some came with school uniforms and some were with their colourful
Nursery Inauguration 2023 dresses. Some were excited and some were in wonder as they were entering to unknown place where in they will be spending important part of their school life.
The students were welcomed by our Principal Fr. Lourdu CSC at the co-triangle of the school entrance. Sir Kankan translated the words of Fr. Lourdu in Bengali.
Our school Manager Fr. Lancy CSC added much joy by showing them his magical tricks that gave much sigh to us teachers as seeing new faces. Some students were
in tears and some were ready to explore unknown world of learning with their elder companions of higher classes. The students of class – x presented a beautiful
group dance which the students watched with much joy and happiness. The kids were also invited to dance along. The students had lots of fun as the higher class
students danced with them. At the end of the welcoming programme the kids were gifted with a pencil and sweets by our honourable Principal. The gifts in their
hands and smiles on their faces were ushered to class room for the activities of the day. Many of the students were given balloons and kids enjoyed themselves flying
it high as they begin their school symbolizing that they are ready to fly high with colours in their lives where only sky can be the limits.
Last but not the least our Principal thanked everyone present for the programme and those who arranged and made 26th of April 2023 a grand success.
