Every year 14 November is
celebrated as Children's Day in loving
Children's Day memory of India's first Prime Minister
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who was
Celebration - 2022
born on 14th November as he likes
the children very much. It is a day to
remember him who, in his quiet but
determined way, laid the foundation
to convert a nascent nation into a
world power.

In our school also Children's Day was
being celebrated in a grand way.

Students from Classes III to VI and
Class X took part in the programme.
The program was organized by the
Ms. Himadri Rani Pal cultural committee in the school

auditorium. Basically, all the teachers
performed various activities to
entertain the students.

We began our programme with a prayer song and lighting of the lamp. Sr
Lahun F.S welcomed the gathering which was followed by wishing
songs from all the teachers. Sr. Rita FS, who was the chief guest of the
said event spoke to the students about the importance of the day and
why it is being celebrated as Children's Day. She also told them how
much the teachers love and care them by presenting colourful
programme. Then the teachers presented various cultural activities like
action dance, fashion show, orchestra which were performed by all the
four house animators. All the students had great fun and enjoyed the
programme. One student representative from class-x expressed words
of gratitude on behave of the students.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Fr Sahaya Lourdu Raj
CSC, Principal of our school after which sweets were distributed to
the students.
