Birthday Celebration of
Sr. Berthila Tuscan FS Every birthday is a magic and gives power to move on in life. Among
all the living and non-living species, the only gifted creation by God
(Headmistress)
that I can ever think of, having the capacity to become aware of oneself
and to know that there is a purpose to achieve and leave behind legacy
for someone or some later on in this planet is human being. This human
life can be filled with positivity or negativity, and values or vices. The
choice is given to everyone; therefore, one has to be more responsible
in every sense. Needless to say, though every day is a new day to celebrate life but there is some magical power filling
us as we celebrate the day of our birth.
God put His trust in everyone seen around in this planet of becoming somebody and doing something. That is why we
see people whom we come in contact with each day of our lives. Let us not forget anyone comes into our lives at any
Sr. Lahunsuklang Marwein moment or without doubt even we have some lessons to tell others. I always believe, that every person on the face of
this world has an incredible responsibility to make his or her whole life a message (The Indian freedom fighter and the
father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi made it so clear that his life is his message).
Given the context of this article, I find Sr. Berthila Tuscan deserves special note of recognition and appreciation. Sr.
Berthila the headmistress of Holy Cross school Kumarghat celebrated her gift of life with us. I look into her life and
see she is filled with lots of dynamism. I admire the simplicity of her life style, the gentleness in her genuine dealing
with the school teaching and non- teaching staff, the commitment to
the assigned responsibility, her ultimate dedication to the life of
consecration and her inspiring presence speaks volume after volume
about the quality of life she lives. I thank God for such a fabulous gift
to us. Sr. Berthila Tuscan’s birthday was on 27th October, and due to
Puja vacation, we had the belated birthday celebration on 14th
November. We organized a short cultural Program and the sports
committee conducted throwball and volleyball match between
teachers and students of four different school houses. We wish God's
abundant blessings upon Sr. Berthila Tuscan and may all her wishes
