Art Competition on Disaster Management:

CBSE Work Our Holy Cross School, Pabiacherra, Kumarghat organized an art

compe on on disaster management on Thursday, October 19,
Report 2023. The compe on was held to raise an awareness among the

students about the importance of disaster preparedness and
response.

The compe on was open to all the students from class 3 to 8.
The par cipants were asked to create artworks on various
themes related to disaster management, such as floods,

earthquakes, landslides, cyclones, fires, epidemics, and so on.
The artworks were judged by a panel of teachers.

The report was uploaded in disaster management portal. The
school principal, Fr. J. Sahaya Lourdu Raj appreciated the efforts

Sir. Biswajit Singha of all the par cipants. He said that the art compe on was a good
way to educate the students about the risks and challenges of

disasters and how to cope with them. He also said that the school
would conduct more such ac vi es in the future to promote
disaster awareness and resilience among the students and the community.

School Inspector Visit to Holy Cross School, Pabiacherra for Pre-Primary

Renewal:

A School Inspector from the state educa on department visited Holy Cross School, Pabiacherra
on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm, to conduct an inspec on for the renewal of the pre-
primary sec on. The inspec on was part of the regular quality assessment and monitoring of the
pre-primary educa on in the state.

The inspector of schools, Mr. Birala Kalai Singh observed the curriculum, the assessment

methods, verified the related documents. He also interacted with the teachers.

The inspector appreciated the efforts of the school management and the teachers for providing a
