‘Life is well lived’, is the inspiration to so many hopeless people who come in contact with such wonderful souls. I can define this statement in
the personification of the life of Fr. Sahaya Lourdu Raj. A man known for his holiness and deep sense of spirituality which reflects in his
Birthday Celebration of
simplicity and ever readiness of his prime call as a Priest.

Fr. Lourdu CSC.
I am so humbled to know him and work under his guidance. His simplicity is admired by students, guardians and teachers as well. His
speeches, guidance, and his Homilies are life giving. A hope less man who had lost all his hope and wanted to commit suicide, after hearing
him became a man with full of hope and completely new person. That is the power we see in his preaching.

Simple living and high thinking. He is a man of few words and more actions. His expertise in media and knowledge of computer is amazing.

On 14th February 2023, we the family of Holy Cross School, Kumarghat celebrated his birthday in a very simple way. The hall was decorated
for the celebration.Fr. Lancy D’Souza, the secretary of the school, Sr. Bernadette, the headmistress, Sr. Lahun the supervisor, teachers and
students of classes VIII to IX were present for the said celebration. We had few cultural programs. A birthday song was sung by all the
teachers followed by the cutting of the birthday cake. At the end of the celebration snacks were served. It was a meaningful birthday
gathering, the life of a godly man, a holiness of life. Fr. Lancy, the school manager, gave a meaningful speech and expressed the selfless
service rendered by our Principal. After which Fr. Lourdu, our principal too gave a valuable speech and thanked all of us for celebrating his
belated birthday.

May he have many more celebrations in years to come with God's blessings. And may he find joy in educating Heart and Mind to many
wherever he is placed.
