ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION OF THE SESSION 2022-23
Assessment and evaluation are a necessary part of any educational experience.
Assessment obtains information on all areas of a child's development and
Exam Cell Report learning. It informs educators about how their students are progressing. The
following is a list of the major assessments which have been conducted in our
school during the session 2022-23.

Periodic Test- I

PT-I exam of classes Nursery to class-X was conducted from 13 June to 18

June and the result of PT-I was declared on 5 August 2022. On a results day,
answer sheets of the students have shown to the parents and the report cards are
also distributed to the parents.

Half-Yearly exam ( nursery to class- VIII) and Periodic test-II (class- IX &
X)
Half-yearly exam of classes Nursery to class- VIII and PT-II exam of classes IX
and X was conducted from 19/09/2022 to 29/09/2022 and the result was
declared on 29/10/2022. On a result day, the answer sheets of the students have
shown to the parents and the report cards are also distributed to the parents.

Periodic Test-II (Nursery to class-VIII) and Periodic Test-III (class-IX &
X)
PT-II (Nursery to class –VIII) and PT-III ( class IX and X) were conducted from
12/12/2022 to 17/12/2022 and the result was declared on 21/01/2023. On the result day, the answer sheets of the
students have shown to the parents and the report cards are also distributed to the parents.

Pre-Board exam (Class-X)
One Pre-Board was conducted from 16/01/2023 to 29/01/2023 for class- X and the result were declared on
04/02/2023. On the result day, the answer sheets of the students have shown to the parents and the report cards are also
distributed to the parents. After the result of the pre-board exam admit cards for the board final exam were distributed
to the students.

Annual exam ( Nursery to class-IX)
The annual exam of the nursery to class IX was conducted from 24/02/2023 to 10/02/2023.

The exam committee along with the principal and headmistress prepares guidelines for teachers to prepare question
papers for PT-I, PT-II PT-III, and Pre-board exams. Holy Cross Education Foundation (HCEF) prepares half-yearly
and annual exam question papers. HCEF prepares half-yearly and annual exam timetables whereas timetables for
other exams are prepared by the exam committee, principal, and headmistress. The exam committee prepares proper
seating arrangements for the students for different exams. Headmistress along with the exam committee prepares the
examination duty chart for the teachers. The committee keeps a record of all the exams held in the school in soft as well
as hard copies.
