welfare, Shri Bhagaban Das,
Hon'ble Minister launched the
Nasha Mukth Bharat Abhiyaan

Shreya Nath (NMBA) in Tripura,Kumarghat
CLASS IX rd
since 3 November 2022. The
programme was held in Manashi Hall of Uttar
Pabiacherra Colony School. Many special
dignitaries were present with the Minister who
spoke about the serious consequences of drug
addiction. They also spoke about the
devastating impact on the addict individual ,
family and a large section of society. The
Government has taken many initiatives to
control and spread the messages and
importance of drugs awareness programme.

We the students of Holy Cross School (cl-ix &
x), were fortunate to attend this awareness
programme. We got to learn many bad effects
of drugs and how it spoils one's health and
family. It was a very wonderful session and
also had lot of interaction with the resource
persons.

The various objectives of this programme :-
i. Awareness generation programme
ii. Focus on higher educational institutions,
universities campuses and schools.
iii. Focus on counselling and treatment
facilities, hospitals and rehabilitation
center etc

The entire world is facing the menace of drug
addicton, which can only be controlled and
cured with the initiative taken by the
government .
