On 2nd May, 2024, we began the new
academic session for the Nursery
Nursery Inauguration students. The preparation was done to

2024 welcome new batch with much
enthusiasm. The main notice board was
well decorated with warm welcome
message and with colourful pictures.
All those kids who entered the school
premises first time with their parents
were thrilled. We could see great joy on
the faces of parents and students
eagerly waiting to attend the first day of
the school.

The Nursery kids and the parents were
warmly welcomed by Fr. Lourdu CSC,

Ms. Chawimawii Darlong the Principal, Sr Barthila FS, Sir Tapan,
the PRO of the school, teachers and
representatives from class students.
Later, students were ushered to their
class room which had a decoration with lots of balloons for the day. The
cartoon pictures and Nursery Rhymes were displayed on the screen
which captivated their minds. Although some students were with tears
living behind their parents for the first time, each child was very much
cared and loved. They were lifted up and carried them in the arms by the
school authorities, teachers and students. We could also see our Principal
Fr. Lourdu lifting them in his arms, making them feel that their first day
was enjoyable, loved and cared with lots of affection. The senior students
danced to the familiar tunes with the kids, and everyone enjoyed to the
foot taping music. The first day of the school was fun filled for the kids
with sweets, gifts of pencils, erasers and smiles.

The day was well planned with fun and excitement for the kids as they
began their new academic life in Holy Cross School Kumarghat. We
wish each one of them a happy school life n gain lots of knowledge from
Holy Cross School, Kumarghat.
